Union work priorities

  • Promote core research and production activities.

  • Enhancing market promotion activities and reaching the largest number of new markets.
  • Increasing the market share in the existing markets, establishing a quality control system in the markets, and setting up a strong monitoring and support system from the government level to the grassroots level.
  • Mainstreaming and establishing sustainable production methods.
  • Disseminating best practices using the latest methods and using new technology to enhance productivity, improve value chains and increase value added.
  • Pay special attention to practices that allow for better adaptation to climate variability and the expansion of the shade and humidity management systems associated with coffee growing areas.
  • Work with the National Center for Research and Development of Coffee in promoting the conservation of genetic resources and the integrated management of natural resources.
  • Implementing programs and activities to enhance the role of the relevant authorities, whether within the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (Extension Department, Planning, Marketing, Plant Production, Research, General Administration of Coffee, etc.), or outside the Ministry such as the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Interior and other relevant bodies.
